Access Control

Access Control Systems

Access control systems perform identification authentication and authorisation of users and entities by evaluating required login credentials that can include passwords, personal identification numbers (PINs), biometric scans and security tokens or cards.

To secure a building, organisations use electronic access control systems that rely on user credentials, access card readers, auditing and reports to track employee access to restricted locations and proprietary areas. Some of these systems incorporate access control panels to restrict entry to rooms and/or buildings as well as alarms and lockdown capabilities to prevent unauthorised access or operations.

We offer a range of access control solutions to best suit your needs. We use and recommend Bosch, CS Technologies, ZKTeco and Rosslare products. There are a number of different options when it comes to access control.

Online Systems

Online systems are access systems that can be controlled and/or updated from a computer or terminal. Theses systems can be integrated into an alarm system or run completely stand alone.

Offline or Stand Alone Systems

Offline or Stand Alone systems are used in situations when a single door requires its access to be controlled. An example of this would be a bin room that requires the door to be kept shut and locked, however all occupants of the premises have access to the room via a PIN o token.
